The Board of Directors have developed a strategic plan, establishing a solid direction for the Severna Park Community Center as we move forward. We identified three key areas of focus: community service, visibility & engagement, and organizational excellence. Within those focus areas, the Board set five goals:
To better serve the community, we will proactively build meaningful relationships, expand services for underserved individuals and families, connect users to resources needed within our mission context, and create new opportunities to gather.
To become the local hub for quality services and programs, we will increase programming partnerships, enhance and modernize technology across the facility, and develop, test, and grow new offerings for diverse audiences.
To improve visitor experiences and expand utilization of the center, we will develop better brand awareness, enhance messaging, and strengthen joint marketing with our partners.
To ensure the longevity of the center to serve the community, we will enhance program offerings, develop new predictable streams, and drive strategic planning and measurement to maintain SPCC's future as an integral resource for the Anne Arundel County community.
To promote the center as a multi-generational destination for healthy lifestyles, we will create a holistic wellness focus for all ages, develop community-centered health events, and expand relationships with wellness and mental health partners.
